The story of BEAUTY CHECK began months ago. BY THE RAY and Raje were united by a shared vision of beauty - one that you don't have to search far for, because it's often closer than you think. You just need to look in the mirror.

We playfully named our project BEAUTY CHECK. From the beginning, we knew we didn't want to create an accessory that would remind you of fixing, controlling, or constantly striving for perfection. We were much more drawn to the idea of a daily ritual of pausing for a moment and looking at yourself with greater kindness, tenderness, and appreciation. Look in the mirror – and see your biggest fan looking back at you.

We wanted to translate the mindfulness and nobility of this vision into the production process as well. We set ourselves one goal: to produce locally, at every stage. From grinding the glass panes, through hand-painting the frame, to sewing the cotton case – every step is carried out in Polish manufactories – in Gdańsk, Masuria, Podhale, and Mazovia. Although producing a single mirror takes over 50 days, we know that true craftsmanship requires time, precision, and conscious decisions.

The mirror was created in a limited edition of one hundred pieces. Each of them has its own, hand-calligraphed number on the cardboard packaging.
